It operates as a gamma radiation dose and dose rate meter while sits in the carrying case and functions as a contamination meter when it is taken out of it. The thresholds for dose and dose rate alarms are manually adjustable. When the radiation level exceeds one of the thresholds an audio alarm signal is activated. The built-in LCD display shows the actual measurement values and other functional information as well. The device has a digital bidirectional communication interface. Used either in routine environment checking or in accident area monitoring, the IH-95 is a rugged and reliable device with practically proved outstanding features.
