The detector of the BNS-94B is a scintillation probe with high sensitivity for gamma and neutron radiation. A patented measurement method assures background compensation and measuring time optimize in one single detector. The probe in every half seconds calculates the actual alteration from the background level. If the difference is significant, appears the alarm. The optionally connected computer receives the data and the event gets registered into a log file.
